Copy the LMSeosImport utility to the iTechnology folder on a <strong>CA</strong> Audit DataTools server.Note: The LMSeosImport utility requires the etsapi and etbase supportinglibraries that are supplied with the <strong>CA</strong> Audit Client.2. Understand the LMSeosImport command line and options.3. Create an Event report to discover the event types and counts, and the entryID ranges.4. Preview the import results with the parameters you expect to use.You may decide to run the preview import again to refine the command lineoptions, if needed.5. Import events from a collector database using the refined command lineoptions.Copy the Event Import Utility to a Solaris Data Tools ServerBefore you can import data from your SEOSDATA table, you must copy theLMSeosImport utility from the <strong>CA</strong> <strong>Enterprise</strong> <strong>Log</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> Application installationDVD-ROM to your Solaris Data Tools server.Note: The LMSeosImport utility requires the presence of the etsapi and etbaselibraries. These files are part of the base Data Tools server installation. Beforeyou try to use the LMSeosImport utility, ensure that the <strong>CA</strong> Audit install directoryis included in your system PATH statement.
