However, the host name for each, active <strong>CA</strong> <strong>Enterprise</strong><strong>Log</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> server must be unique within your log collection implementation.So, before you can activate a cloned, virtual server, change the host name and IPaddress of the server with the Rename_ELM.sh script.The update script performs actions including the following:■■■■Automatically stops and restarts the default agentAutomatically stops and restarts the iGateway servicePrompts you to change the hostname, IP address, and DNS IP addressAutomatically updates configuration files with encrypted passwords for thevarious certificatesTo update a cloned virtual <strong>CA</strong> <strong>Enterprise</strong> <strong>Log</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> server1. <strong>Log</strong> in to the physical target server as root.2. Access the Application ISO image or DVD and navigate to the directory,/<strong>CA</strong>/Linux_x86.You can also find the script in the file system of an installed <strong>CA</strong> <strong>Enterprise</strong> <strong>Log</strong><strong>Manager</strong> server. The script resides in the directory, opt/<strong>CA</strong>/<strong>Log</strong><strong>Manager</strong>.3. Copy the script, Rename_ELM.sh, to the target server.4. Change the information for virtual <strong>CA</strong> <strong>Enterprise</strong> <strong>Log</strong> <strong>Manager</strong> server with thefollowing command:./Rename_ELM.sh5.
