In order to use it, the Solar must pace outthe border of the space which he wishes to restore— whose border can be no longer than 100 yardsper dot of Permanent Essence. Once the border ismarked, the Exalt must enter a meditative state,which lasts a number of hours determined by theintensity of the Wyld energies — one hour forBordermarches, five for Middlemarches, and ten forDeep Wyld. At the conclusion of this meditation,the area is suffused with golden light, and theWyld energy is removed entirely. From that pointonward, the space in question has the stability ofCreation, although it can be reclaimed by the Wyldin the normal fashion. This Charm may be used tocreate pockets of stability within the Wyld itself,or to expand the borders of Creation proper, aswell as to cleanse isolated Wyld zones; however,additional magics may be necessary to prevent theareas being recovered from rapidly returning to aWyld state.103
