To use this Charm, thecharacter must be able to come in contact witha damaged portion of the ship directly, whetherfrom the inside or outside. Over the course of threelong turns (or about five minutes of real time) thecharacter uses whatever materials she can find topatch up the ship. In order to usethis Charm, the Solar must be able to move freelyaround whatever remains of the vessel — generally,this will require the Solar to place the ship up onblocks upon land, although the ability to hold hisbreath might allow him to do so while the ship wasafloat or even sunk.
