Open the door of the sterilizer about 4 inches for 10 minutes toallow gradual cooling of the contents of the sterilizer.Steam under pressure will disintegrate woolens if the exposure is prolonged. The bacterial sterilization requires preliminary vacuum andloose packing. Garments placed in bags are likely to have the wrinklesset, if water of condensation settles in them when the steam has not penetratedat a sufficiently high temperature. If the cooling or drying is'\'Cry rapid, wrinkles and shl'inkage are quite likely to result.•
