His success story appeared in several publications, spread over the world from Germany<br />

to Japan, all the way from USA to China. Beyti, is one of those rare places to achieve<br />

sustainable growth and success in the food&beverages sector. The driving force behind<br />

this justified reputation is the restaurant’s owner himself, Beyti Güler.<br />

Beyti Güler’s story started in 1945, in a small and simple place<br />

by Küçükçekmece, Istanbul and now continues to live on at his<br />

restaurant in Florya, serving a total of 450 people. The pleasure<br />

of dining in the open garden during the summer on one hand; the<br />

interiors of Beyti Restaurant is another matter, resembling that of a<br />

time machine. The walls are adorned by photos of celebrities that<br />

visited and enjoyed Beyti over the years, and various corners of the<br />

restaurant are filled with gifts Mr.Beyti received.<br />

The distinct honour of having hosted kings, movie stars, jet-set from<br />

all around the world to date, Beyti has seen many prominent names<br />

in their field; Turkish politicians such as, İsmet İnönü, Celal Bayar,<br />

Süleyman Demirel and Turgut Özal, President of People’s Republic<br />

of China Li Xiannian, French President Jacque Chirac, Ludwig Erhard<br />

from Germany, Avustralian Sir Stephan Ninian, USA President Richard<br />

Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Arthur Miller, South African President De Clark,<br />

William Saroyan, Leonard Bernstein, Sylvie Vartan, Johny Hallyday,<br />

Danny Kaye. The restaurant enjoys being able to serve as many as<br />

hundreds of people with delicious meat dishes everyday. Mr.Beyti<br />

attends to each guest personally, visiting all the tables one by one<br />

and sticks around unless he sees satisfaction and content in the eyes<br />

of his customers. His meticulous attention reveals that success hasn’t<br />

been coincidental but a well earned one. It’s possible that behind<br />

the justified reputation of Beyti Güler, one of the ‘meat masters’<br />

in Turkey, lies the fact that he personally chooses the meat, ages,<br />

marinates and cooks it in coal fire with his special methods.<br />

Imprinted into memories as,“The Place for Best Cooked Meat”, Beyti<br />

has been serving its guests with the same discipline and respect for<br />

over half a century and this tradition is most likely to live on for<br />

many years to come. Beyti Restaurant is composed of a three-storey<br />
