The Samples E, I, H and pure epoxy res<strong>in</strong> were prepared with post cur<strong>in</strong>g<br />

Modulus<br />

The flexural strength reduced with addition <strong>of</strong> Am<strong>in</strong>e conta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g PDMS which <strong>in</strong>duced rubbery<br />

properties <strong>in</strong> epoxy matrix. The Modulus <strong>of</strong> the comb<strong>in</strong>ation H <strong>in</strong>creased <strong>in</strong>dicat<strong>in</strong>g better dispersion<br />

supported by the spherical rubber precipitates and improved cross l<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g with<strong>in</strong> the matrix.<br />

TENSILE TEST<br />

The flexural specimen <strong>of</strong> dimension 80mm × 10mm with thickness <strong>of</strong> 3mm was prepared from each<br />

cast<strong>in</strong>g. Tensile strength, Tensile modulus were studied <strong>in</strong> the universal <strong>test<strong>in</strong>g</strong> mach<strong>in</strong>e. The tensile test<br />

was carried at the crosshead speed <strong>of</strong> 1mm/m<strong>in</strong>. The flexural test was carried accord<strong>in</strong>g to ASTM D 638<br />

standards.<br />

The Samples A, B, D and pure epoxy res<strong>in</strong> were prepared without post cur<strong>in</strong>g<br />
