e<strong>in</strong>forced Epoxy. It was observed that even though 30 % short glass fibre filled polycarbonate has better<br />

properties <strong>in</strong> transverse directions but maximum forces are act<strong>in</strong>g along the length <strong>of</strong> the component and it<br />

undergoes large displacement and hence cannot be considered as a suitable material for fabrication <strong>of</strong> the<br />

component. Furthermore, carbon fibre based composite was selected as a suitable material for fabrication based on<br />

its better long term property retention and lesser deformation <strong>in</strong> the shape.<br />
