Application Information:
• Fortress MicroActiv may be applied in the fall with or without a fall tillage operation, or in the spring as a pre-plant
incorporated treatment. Before application of this product, the soil must be in good working condition. Application to
a field that is wet, lumpy, rough or ridged will result in reduced weed control and promote crop thinning.
• Fall Surface Application: Where fields are prone to water and/or wind erosion, and tillage is therefore undesirable, fall
surface application should be made within 3 weeks of soil freeze-up, when the soil begins to cool (less than 4 o C),
which typically begins on or around October 1. Application can be made to standing stubble or to previously worked
fields with incorporation delayed until spring. For best results on heavy wild oat infestations, use the incorporated
treatment.
