Metlock CT does not contain a colourant, any seed treated with Metlock CT must be conspicuously coloured (red).
Metlock CT is a concentrated formulation and should be mixed with water at a ratio of 5 parts water to 1 part Metlock CT
to ensure sufficient seed coverage. More water can be used if necessary. For all seed types, commercial seed treatment
(facilities and mobile treaters, with closed transfer including closed mixing, loading, calibrating, and closed treatment
equipment only) is permitted. For cereal grain seeds (excluding corn), on-farm treatment (open transfer including open
mixing, loading, calibrating, and open treatment equipment) is permitted.
Seed Treatments
How it Works:
The active ingredient metconazole is a broad-spectrum triazole demethylation inhibitor (DMI) fungicide with systemic
activity. The active ingredient metalaxyl is an acylalanine fungicide with systemic activity against diseases caused by
oomycetes, including Pythium damping-off. For more information refer to “Fungicide Modes of Action” on page 435.
