Application:<br />

Malathion<br />

• May be applied by air or ground equipment. Apply when insect numbers exceed economic threshold levels using<br />

sufficient water for good coverage. Use higher rates for heavy infestations, dense canopy or mature stages of insects.<br />

How it Works:<br />

Malathion is a non-systemic, contact, organophosphate insecticide and acaricide of brief to moderate persistence.<br />

Generally non-phytotoxic.<br />

Effects of Weather:<br />

For best results apply when daytime temperatures are above 20°C.
