152 It’s hard to see what mañcakāni can mean here, and this is presumably a scribal error.<br />
153 Reading pr- as failing to make position here to avoid a heavy 6th syllable.<br />
154 The reading in <strong>Patna</strong> here, meaning a heap of rubbish, seems preferable to the Pāḷi which is<br />
difficult of interpretation. DhpA: saṅkāraṭṭhānasmiṁ, which doesn’t help much.<br />
155 These last two verses also close the Pāḷi chapter.
