BUDGET PROCESS
Debt Service Funds account for the accumulation of resources for, and the payment of general long-term debt principal,
interest, and related costs. The City of Greenwood Village is debt-free, thus, does not report a Debt Service Fund.
Proprietary Funds
Enterprise Funds account for operations similar to private business enterprises, where the intent of the governing body
is that the costs of providing these services on a continuing basis be financed or recovered primarily through user
charges. The City of Greenwood Village does not report an Enterprise Fund.
Internal Service Funds account for goods and/or services provided by one department to other departments within the
City or to other government units on a cost reimbursement basis. The City of Greenwood Village currently does not
report an Internal Service Fund.
Fiduciary Funds
Trust & Agency Funds account for resources for which the City is holding as a trustee or an agent for another
organizational unit and as such, does not have spending authority. The City does not currently report a Fiduciary Fund.
