Η αρχιτεκτονική της Οίας είναι
μοναδική. Αναπαλαιωμένα
και επιβλητικά αρχοντικά
καπεταναίων ατενίζουν τον
ορίζοντα, ενώ τα παραδοσιακά
υπόσκαφα, που κάποτε
αποτελούσαν τον τόπο
διαμονής των πληρωμάτων,
έχουν μεταμορφωθεί σε δωμάτια
για να υποδεχθούν όσους θέλουν
να ζήσουν την εμπειρία της
διαμονής στη Σαντορίνη.
The architecture of Oia is
unique. Restored and imposing
captains’ mansions overlook the
horizon, while the traditional
yposkafa (that used to be the
crews’ houses), have been
fully transformed into rooms
to welcome visitors who want
to experience this kind of
accommodation in Santorini.

Here you will find the most
original volcanic beaches.
Besides Aghios Nikolaos in
Ammoudi, there is also Katharos
Beach where you will find a
cafe-restaurant. Near Baxedes
Beach there is Sigalas Winery
to combine your swim with
wine tasting.

miss Catch, that often hosts
parties with guest djs.

scenery of Finikia, which
was named after the many
palm trees of the area
(‘finikas’ is the Greek word
for ‘palm tree’).

Χτίστηκε το 1859, και
στην αυλή της δεσπόζει

τέμπλο της είναι από

εκκλησίες του νησιού,

The church was built
in1859. Its courtyard is
dominated by a palm tree.
The church has one of the
most highly elaborated
icon screens and is one
of the most beautiful
churches of the island.
Every year on October
20th, the most famous
local feast of the island
takes place here.
