FEDEX—SPEED IS HIDDEN IN ITS LOGO

FedEx, started in 1971, now delivers millions of packages every year. Always known

for speedy delivery, the original Federal Express started by offering overnight air

delivery to 25 U.S. cities. Now the firm owns over 50 aircraft and 3,696 vehicles

and serves customers in approximately 130 countries and territories around the

world. The company is one of the major logistics providers in the world today and

continues to innovate and grow, even providing the FedEx SameDay service in

many of its delivery areas.

The current logo, created in 1994, is famous for the optical illusion hidden

within it. If you look closely at the space between the E and the X, you will notice a
