<strong>The</strong> way DC recordin2 expenses and consumption in the auxiliary form:<br />

1. As previously mentioned, the household will record on a daily basis the actual expenses<br />

and consumption by itself for each commodity (food and drinks), as well as out-ofhousehold<br />

expenses as per household me<strong>mb</strong>er.<br />

<strong>The</strong> enumerator should review and discuss the entries of the household to correct<br />

information guided by the size of the household and its characteristics - housing<br />

circumstances - and appliances possessed (all supplementary information exists at the<br />

beginning of the form)<br />

2. If the household was incapable of recording its daily expenses and consumption in the<br />

auxiliary form due to the household me<strong>mb</strong>ers illiteracy, the enumerator can record the<br />

quantity and value of consumption for each commodity by himself twice a week (in the<br />

mid and at the end of the week) during the month of the survey.<br />

This means that information recorded by the household itself will be on daily basis,<br />

whereas information recorded by the enumerator will be from 3 - 4 days..<br />

B. <strong>Income</strong>, <strong>Expenditure</strong> and Consumption form (Form no. 30 A - A M A)<br />

<strong>The</strong> enumerator keeps the form with him to summarize the information in the auxiliary<br />

form at the end of the month of the survey, and record these briefs in this form. For<br />

example, the actual quantity and value of consumption of each commodity (food and<br />

drinks) during the month of the survey are collected and sorted in this form. In addition<br />

to information of expenses and consumption related to other various goods and service<br />

classes of reference periods (one month, three months and one year). <strong>The</strong> income<br />

information is collected by the enumerator after entirely fulfilling expenses and<br />

consumption information.<br />

In view of the sensitivity of income information, it is recommended to collect this<br />

information after fully collecting information of expenses and consumption to avoid<br />

negative effects on other information, <strong>The</strong> income information is needed for a reference<br />

period, one year, ending by the termination of the month of the survey.<br />

<strong>The</strong> survey-related information is collected by meeting the household in their quarters.<br />

Ten neighborhood families are assigned to each enumerator per month (duration of the<br />

survey), Le. 10 visits will be conducted for each household during the month of the<br />

survey, to prevent families from forgetting its actual expenses and consumption. <strong>The</strong> first<br />
