• Individuals in the age of six years old or more who are capable and wishing to work, but<br />

they jobless during the week of survey.<br />

• Individuals are considered unemployed even if they contracted to work, but the starting<br />

date is determined to be after the week of the survey<br />

• Individuals who are suspended from work for a certain or unknown period, and jobless<br />

during the week of the survey.<br />

Unemployed individuals are divided into:<br />

1. Persons who were working before the start of the survey, but became jobless during the<br />

week of the survey.<br />

2. Newly graduated who did not work before.<br />

c. Individuals outside work force -- are individuals whose. age range from 6 to 64<br />

years old and are capable of working, but they are out of work or do not look for<br />

jobs during the week of the survey due to the following:<br />

1. <strong>Household</strong> reasons (assigned to domestic activities)<br />

2. Preparing themselves to work (students devoted to studying)<br />

3. Not wishing to work (restrained from work)<br />

4. On pension or retired<br />

5. Partially disabled<br />

6. Leave without pay for one year or more, and are not working<br />

7. Recruits and public service<br />

8. Prisoners<br />

9. Patients not engaged with work<br />

10. Individuals from 6 to 12 years old who are not working or studying<br />

d. Individuals outside human force<br />

a. Individuals less than 6 years old<br />

b. Individuals in the age of 65 years old or above who are jobless and not wishing to work<br />

c. Entirely disabled<br />
