This table does not include free services rendered to the household by non profitable medical<br />

governmental or voluntary organizations, record, to record individual's expenses in return of<br />

medications or surgeries undertaken through health insurance.<br />

Table (8): Transportation expenses<br />

8.1. Value of transportation expenses during the year ended by the end of the month of the<br />

survey<br />

<strong>The</strong> value of transportation means, during the year ended by the end of the month of the<br />

survey, such as a private car, motorcycle or vespa, is recorded in this table.<br />

Record in terms of credit purchase, overall value and installments paid during the year<br />

of the survey, while in cash payment the value is placed in the column of overall value<br />

and installments paid during the year of the survey.<br />

<strong>The</strong> value of installments paid for transportation means before the year of the surveyor<br />

after it is recorded in table (14).<br />

8.2. Expenses of private transportation means<br />

This table includes the value of operating private transportation means<br />

a. During the month of the survey such as benzine or solar cells, oils, lubrications,<br />

washing, repairing, as well as parking fees, driver's salary and vehicle insurance.<br />

b. During the year ended by the end of the month of the survey such as driving<br />

license, documentation costs or honorarium, violations and driving training fees.<br />

Table (8.2) includes the expenses of the private car as being used for normal use only,<br />

any other expenses related to using the car in productive purposes are irrelevant.<br />

8.3. Expenses of public transportation means<br />

This table includes the value of public transportation expenses during the period<br />

determined in connection with each transportation means.<br />

<strong>The</strong> expenses of travelling include plane or steamer fare for a residing household me<strong>mb</strong>er<br />

during the survey period.<br />

It is also observed that any expenses spent on resident individuals are considered a<br />

consumption expenditure, otherwise any expenses paid for non-resident me<strong>mb</strong>ers are not<br />

considered a consumption expenditure but in fact it is a transfer which is provided in<br />

table (13). Also it should be noted that this table does not include expenses of school<br />
