12.3. Expenses of services not previously scheduled during the year ended by the end of the<br />

month of the survey<br />

Table (13);<br />

This table includes expenses of unscheduled personal services. Information was divided<br />

into the following two parts:<br />

Part One:<br />

Expenses of judiciary services inside Egypt such as issuing official documents, banking<br />

services, expenses of funeral ceremonies and marriage celebrations, me<strong>mb</strong>ership and<br />

subscription fees, and other service expenses.<br />

Taking into consideration, that expenses of marriage celebration does not' include the<br />

value of marriage gift, which is provided in table (13).<br />

Part Two:<br />

Expenses outside Egypt for medical treatments, religious (pilgrimage and minor hadj) and<br />

recreation tourism, as well as others (subscription of foreign magazines and<br />

organizations).<br />

This means that the value recorded in this table includes expenses outside Egypt<br />

supported by the household, while travelling tickets from Cairo are recorded in table<br />

(8.3) under transportation fare by plane and steamers.<br />

Taking into consideration, that money transferred, regularly or irregularly, to one of the<br />

household me<strong>mb</strong>ers or a relative outside Egypt (his name is not mentioned with the<br />

household me<strong>mb</strong>ers) is not considered consumption expenditure. However, it is<br />

considered as a transfer, which is recorded in table (13) under Transfers outside Egypt.<br />

This table includes general income tax, installments of life insurance, dowry and marriage gift,<br />

furniture, gifts, charity, alms, tithe, and transfers inside and outside Egypt.<br />
