This subsidiary group includes the value and quantities of drinks consumed during the<br />

survey duration, such as dry tea , either subsidized or non subsidized tea, grained coffee,<br />

green coffee grains. In addition, actual consumption of cacao, cinnamon, anise, ....., and<br />

other drinks (ginger, licorice root, grained carob, tamarind, glossostemon bruguieri root,<br />

salep, and fenugreek). <strong>The</strong> following is considered:<br />

* Value of fenugreek used by the household as a drink is recorded under other<br />

groups of drinks. Whereas fenugreek used as flour with wheat to manufacture<br />

bread is recorded under dry legumes.<br />

13. Non-alcoholic drinks<br />

This group includes carbonated drinks and mineral water, and other non-alcoholic drinks<br />

(Fayrouz and Pirel). <strong>The</strong> foHowing are taken into account:<br />

14. Alcoholic drinks<br />

Non-alcoholic drinks provided in this table represent the household's consumption<br />

during the month of the survey, while non-alcoholic drinks consumed by the<br />

household outside home are provided in table (12).<br />

Non-alcoholic drinks consumed by third parties are not included' within this<br />

group.<br />

This subsidiary group includes beer, wine, and other alcoholic drinks. <strong>The</strong> value is only<br />

recorded with no quantities, taking into consideration that the value of alcoholic drinks<br />

consumed outside home (restaurants, coffee shops and hotels) is not recorded in this<br />

table, it is recorded in table (11).<br />

This table includes the value of cigarettes, tobacco and opiates consumed by the household<br />

during the month of the survey. Whereas tobacco expenses at coffee shops such as (hookah and<br />

narghile) are recorded in table (11).<br />

In this table, the value of clothes received by the household during the year ended by the<br />

end of the survey is recorded in respect of the following:<br />
