Instructions for ottice Editing<br />

1. Be sure to complete the data questionnaire and do not<br />

forget any edit item. For consumption and expenditure schedule,<br />

be sure to complete that and record value and quantity for every<br />

commodity recorded on the schedule, or value only when the case<br />

of (-) occurs in the quantity cell. In case when the household<br />

consumption for every commodity through this survey period also<br />

put (-) in the special cells to clear the quantity and value for<br />

this commodity.<br />

For the income schedule, be sure to record net annual income<br />

value according to every schedule income item according to<br />

sources which match on the household level. If the household does<br />

not obtain income, put a (-) in the special cell for that<br />

purpose.<br />

2. Follow the instructions for skipping for basic data<br />

questions for every household me<strong>mb</strong>er. <strong>The</strong>se questions nu<strong>mb</strong>er 20<br />

in all for individuals.<br />

3. Be sure when the nu<strong>mb</strong>er of individuals is more than ten<br />

persons to complete the additional survey model (30 a.m.a.) which<br />

begins with person nu<strong>mb</strong>er 11 until you complete basic data for<br />

all individuals. After completing these models, staple them to<br />

the original questionnaires.<br />

4. Be sure that identification data on the questionnaire<br />

cover matched the ID data on the second page, and the special<br />

codes for this data and the same household nu<strong>mb</strong>er on the<br />

governorate and on the shiakhajvillage and the external frame on<br />

the cover matches with the second page. If we have add models<br />

(30 a.m.a.) the cover of these models have to be the same covers<br />

of the original questionnaire.<br />

5. Be sure the questionnaire cover codes on first and second<br />

pages are recorded special codes for this data in the special<br />

boxes provided, and also code occupation type with six (6) digits<br />

for every me<strong>mb</strong>ers who have occupation in question nu<strong>mb</strong>er 15, and<br />

code the economic activity using four (4) digits for every me<strong>mb</strong>er<br />

who has economic activity in question nu<strong>mb</strong>er 16.<br />

6. Be sure to transfer the quantity and consumption values<br />

for every commodity placed in the consumption cell, or the<br />

monthly expenditure, or the quarterly expenditure values to<br />

annual value. This step is completed by mUltiplying the monthly<br />

values by 12, multiplying the quarterly values by 4, and<br />

recording this annual value for consumption or expenditure in the<br />
