preparati per prevedere e simulare:<br />
• Il decadimento termico del prodotto lungo il<br />
trasporto<br />
• Il comportamento meccanico dei componenti<br />
del trasportatore, principalmente la rete e le<br />
tazze.<br />
Seguendo questo approccio, è stato progettato<br />
e installato nello stabilimento produttivo un<br />
prototipo industriale. Successivamente sono<br />
state effettuate campagne di test sperimentali<br />
per validare i modelli CFD. I risultati sperimentali<br />
mostrano una buona correlazione con i risultati<br />
della simulazione. I modelli CFD possono,<br />
quindi, essere considerati pienamente validati.<br />
<strong>In</strong>oltre, è stata effettuata un’accurata ispezione<br />
delle tazze e della rete e non sono state rilevate<br />
deformazioni permanenti sui componenti<br />
del trasportatore.<br />
Sulla base dei risultati ottenuti con il presente<br />
studio, è possibile affermare che i nastri trasportatori<br />
a rete, dotati di piastre o tazze, rappresentano<br />
una soluzione valida, affidabile e<br />
sicura per la movimentazione meccanica della<br />
terra di fonderia calda. •<br />
