<strong>Quarterly</strong> Progress <strong>Report</strong> Task 1. Develop Pavement Design Guidelines All of the requirements of this task have been completed. Task 2. Define and Develop Standards for Trail Maintenance This task has been completed. Task 3. Analyze the Life Cycle Costs for Potential Trail Designs This task was completed during this quarter. Task 4. Evaluate Proposed Pavement Design and Maintenance Recommendations Against Existing Similar Trails This task was completed during this quarter. Asphalt concrete, PCC, and aggregate trails were evaluated in Northern, Central, and Southern Illinois. Task 5. Prepare Final <strong>Report</strong> The Final <strong>Report</strong> for this project was completed on March 1, 2012 and submitted to ICT for editorial review. A time extension to June 30, 2012 was requested and approved so as to allow time for all reviews to be completed. Progress & Significant Results This Quarter: 1. Splitting and sampling of the loose mixes were completed for volumetric checks (Gmm and Gmb). 2. Hamburg tests were completed for samples prepared from loose mixes and field cores. 3. Samples were prepared for complex modulus testing. Tests have started with the low temperature (-10 C). 4.
