Project Descripti<strong>on</strong>:<br />
The objective of this project is to characterize strength, permanent deformati<strong>on</strong>, and fracture properties of an asphalt mixture with varying<br />
percentages of RAS.<br />
In this study, an experimental program will be c<strong>on</strong>ducted to evaluate the permanent deformati<strong>on</strong>, fracture, and modulus characteristics of an asphalt<br />
mixture with varying percentages of RAS.<br />

<strong>Progress</strong> & Significant Results This Quarter:<br />
1. Splitting and sampling of the loose mixes were completed for volumetric checks (Gmm and Gmb).<br />
2. Hamburg tests were completed for samples prepared from loose mixes and field cores.<br />
3. Samples were prepared for complex modulus testing. Tests have started with the low temperature (-10 C).<br />
4. Samples were prepared for fracture testing (SCB) from loose mixes. SCB tests were completed at -12 C.<br />
