Project Descripti<strong>on</strong>:<br />

The SRICOS Zmax is the equilibrium maximum c<strong>on</strong>tracti<strong>on</strong> and pier scour of cohesive soils over time as determined by the SRICOS method. This<br />

“upper limit†of scour predicti<strong>on</strong> can be used for sites where applicati<strong>on</strong> of the IDOT cohesive soil reducti<strong>on</strong>-factor method is difficult or<br />

provides questi<strong>on</strong>able results.<br />
