Location<br />
Our present manufacturing <strong>and</strong> processing facility for insulating, toughened, laminated <strong>and</strong><br />
Decorative <strong>glass</strong> is carried on at Plot No 259/10/1, Village Dadra, Union Territory <strong>of</strong> Dadra,<br />
Nagar Haveli, Dist. Silvassa. This facility is on a plot admeasuring 11,000 sq.mts.<br />
Our company proposes to set up its float <strong>glass</strong> project at Plot No.36, Jhagadia Industrial Estate<br />
Dist. Bharuch, Gujarat. The site measuring 6,08,540 sq.mts, is well-connected to the major<br />
railway <strong>and</strong> road routes, which will facilitate smooth transportation <strong>of</strong> raw materials <strong>and</strong><br />
finished goods. This location also enjoys easy availability <strong>of</strong> s<strong>and</strong>, natural gas <strong>and</strong> skilled labour<br />
required for the project.<br />
Raw Materials<br />
Present<br />
For our present processing facility, <strong>glass</strong> is our basic raw material, which constitutes approx 70-<br />
80% <strong>of</strong> our raw material cost. The <strong>glass</strong> consists <strong>of</strong> three types clear <strong>glass</strong>, tinted <strong>glass</strong> are<br />
available through Gujarat guardian, Asahi Glass <strong>and</strong> Saint Gobain. Reflective <strong>glass</strong> <strong>and</strong> high<br />
performance low- E <strong>glass</strong> are imported from Glaverbel S.A, (Belgium, Indonesia, Gulf),<br />
Pilkington (Germany, U.K. <strong>and</strong> USA), Guardian (Luxembourg), Arcon (Germany) <strong>and</strong> various<br />
other sources from across the world.<br />
