Other raw materials consists <strong>of</strong> PVB films imported from Dupont <strong>and</strong> Solutia (Singapore), <strong>and</strong><br />
Trosifol (Germany). Aluminium space Bars are imported from Pr<strong>of</strong>il Glass sra (Italy), Molecular<br />
<strong>and</strong> Butyl are imported from Fenzi spa(Italy), Polysulphide <strong>and</strong> silicon from Sika, Dowcoring <strong>and</strong><br />
Fenzi spa (Italy).<br />
We do not have any long-term agreement with these suppliers for supply <strong>of</strong> float <strong>glass</strong> for our<br />
existing processing unit.<br />
Proposed<br />
The major raw materials required for production <strong>of</strong> float <strong>glass</strong> in the proposed plant are Silica<br />
S<strong>and</strong>, Soda Ash, Dolomite, Limestone, Feldspar, Sodium Sulphate <strong>and</strong> Cullets <strong>and</strong> these are<br />
available locally.<br />
Power<br />
Present<br />
Presently the power requirement is fully available through GEB (Gujarat Electricity <strong>Board</strong>)<br />
under sanction letter for uninterrupted supply <strong>of</strong> 1450 KVA. Over <strong>and</strong> above this our company<br />
has 4 DG sets which can produce power <strong>of</strong> 1680 KVA.<br />
For the processing <strong>of</strong> Decorative Glasses, we have 525 Kg. <strong>of</strong> LPG Gas in stock through<br />
industrial cylinders.<br />
Proposed<br />
A temporary connection <strong>of</strong> 1200 KVA is sanctioned for the construction purpose. Further, our<br />
Company requires continuous supply <strong>of</strong> natural gas for the production <strong>of</strong> float <strong>glass</strong>. The total<br />
requirement for the installed capacity would be about 12000 KW. The power would be supplied<br />
by a Captive Power Plant (CPP) to be set up by Gujarat Gas Company Ltd. (GGCL) who would<br />
be responsible for the erection <strong>and</strong> installation <strong>of</strong> genset <strong>and</strong> necessary auxiliaries <strong>and</strong><br />
operation <strong>and</strong> maintenance <strong>of</strong> the CPP. Firm agreement with Gujarat Gas Company Ltd. (GGCL)<br />
has been made for the supply <strong>of</strong> power in January 2007. We shall also apply to GEB for 5,000<br />
KVA power line in due course <strong>of</strong> time.<br />
Water<br />
Present<br />
We have our own borewell <strong>and</strong> Demineralization unit which supplies water to all the processes.<br />
Proposed:<br />
The water requirement is estimated 6 Lacs Litres Per day, which will be supplied by GIDC.<br />
Fire fighting installations<br />
Present:<br />
We have installed 25 Fire extinguishers <strong>and</strong> dry s<strong>and</strong> in the factory, which are adequate for the<br />
existing facilities.<br />
Similar facilities would be installed at the proposed plant at Jhagadia.<br />
Nitrogen <strong>and</strong> Hydrogen Gas<br />
