Hasta que le llegó el nombramiento,así que comenzó de lleno su trabajo en el CID de Casade Gobierno y pudo volver a estar con la familia.“El trabajo en el CID es espectacular, otra experiencia diferente.Porque ves cómo la gente grande vuelve a tenerganas de querer hacer algo, había un montón de genteque tenía el sueño de terminar el colegio y acá tienen laoportunidad de concretarlo”, resalta esta mentora.El de la sede gubernamental es uno de los CID másgrandes. Van 140 alumnos en nueve turnos que sedistribuyen de 8 a 18. “Acá la gente es divina porquetienen ganas (insiste). Aún no están adaptados a la‘compu’, que recibieron recién hace 15 días, les va acostar acostumbrarse. Pero estamos en eso. Primero seles explica el tema y después ven la película. Ahora losalumnos se están preparando para nuevos exámenes.Si bien la mayoría de los que vienen acá tienen máquinasen su casa prefieren que les explique primeroel tema antes de ponerse ellos solos con las materias”.Para esta docente, el valor educativo de la computadoraes alto. ¿Por qué? Como los grupos de alumnosson tan heterogéneos, con tantas materias distintasdictándose, la netbook y sus programas e Internetpermiten atender a todos los requerimientos sin problemas.“Si no estuviese la computadora, sería imposible.A mí me encanta el software, lo veo tan didácticopese a que me costó acostumbrarme a la netbookporque amo los libros. Y el valor que representan (lascomputadoras) es importantísimo porque además detener la explicación, tienen el video. Sólo de mirar laspelículas a los alumnos les queda todo. Las leccionesson muy didácticas, la explicación del video, con cuadrosy demás. Es una ayuda bárbara”, se entusiasma.Bibiana no pierde las ganas en ningún momento dela conversación, sea que hable de su familia, sea quehable de sus alumnos. Se conmueve cuando da cuentade la garra que le ponen sus alumnos al estudio ytambién de la historia que le ha tocado protagonizarjunto a su familia.“Estoy feliz, felicísima con esto. Gracias a la ULP conseguítantas cosas... Ahora estoy en el plan de comprar54 |Center) we got together again”, she immediately smiles.When she passed the exams at La Punta University to become a teacherat the Digital Inclusion Center, her hope to come back to the cityrevived. And this does not mean lack of vocation as for her work inPiedra Bola, but it reflected her need for the family to be together.In February 2009, her husband and two younger children went backto La Punta city where they met with the eldest son. Bibiana still livedand worked in Piedra Bola and visited the family during weekends.Then the designation came and she started her job at the Center fulltime and got together with her family again.“The work at the Center is amazing, another different experience. Yousee grown up people who feels the desire to do things again, manypeople dreamt about finishing school and here, they can fulfill thosedreams”, the mentor states.This Center, at the Government House, is one of the largest. There are140 students who attend classes in 9 shifts distributed from 8 am to6 pm. “People here are lovely because they want to learn- she insists.They are used to the computers yet (they received them 15 days before),and it will take them some time to get used to it. But we are workingon it. We first explain the topic and then they watch a movie.Now students are getting ready for new exams. Although most of thestudents have their own computers at home, they rather prefer meto explain the topic before sitting down to study by them with thematerial”.For this teacher, the educational value of the computer is enormous.Why? As students groups are so heterogeneous, with so many differentsubjects being dealt at the same time, the netbook, its programsand the internet allow paying attention to all the requirements easily.“If we didn’t have the computer, this would be impossible. I love thesoftware; I think it is extremely didactic, despite I had a hard time gettingused to the netbook as I love books. And the value they representis very important because they not only have the explanation but also

Y mi jefe siempre me lo dice: ‘Por algote buscamos a vos...’”, afirma la mujer que recuerdaesta anécdota: cuando trabajaba en Piedra Bola organizóun viaje a la ciudad de San Luis para que loschicos tomaran por primera vez en su vida un helado.Ahora, desde otro lugar, quiere replicar la experiencia.“Estamos programando un viaje a La Carolina, aInti Huasi, para que los alumnos busquen informaciónsobre esos lugares, saquen fotos y sigan aprendiendo...”,se ilusiona esta maestra que, como las otrasque conocimos en las entrevistas para este libro, nospermiten recuperar gran parte de la expectativa queponemos en la educación argentina.Potrero de los FunesEn uno de los lugares turísticos más conocidos de SanLuis, al noreste de la capital provincial, acaba de ponerseen marcha el CID de Potrero de los Funes. Se notaporque está recién pintadito, de blanco y verde manzana,repitiendo el color que la ULP eligió para el isologodel Wi-Fi gratis. Aquí también se puso en marchael programa, a cargo de Liliana Coria (42) una docenteque aceptó la propuesta “porque a esta edad es mejortrabajar con gente más grande”, según nos cuenta.En este centro se nota parte de la estrategia montadasobre la Autopista de la Información. Además delos escritorios y las netbooks, en este caso unas de lamarca Asus de color blanco titanio enchufadas a tomacorrientes en el piso de baldosas, iluminadas desde eltecho por tubos fluorescentes y calefaccionados conestufas eléctricas, se ve un teléfono colgado junto aun “router” para dar la conexión inalámbrica. Es unade las ventajas de haber puesto en marcha el proyectopara tener conectada toda la provincia por una redde fibra óptica que al Estado le permite tener comunicacionestodo el tiempo a costos mínimos. Heattends classes in the afternoon and learns with the same womanwho taught his own children. During the morning, he works in a kioskin La Punta.“I love teaching. And my boss always tells me: ‘That’s the reason whywe chose you…’”she affirms and remembers an anecdote: when sheworked in Piedra Bola, she organized a trip to the city of San Luis sothat children could have an ice cream for the first time in their lives.Now, being in a different place, she wants to replicate the experience:“We are planning a trip to La Carolina and Inti Huasi so that studentscan look for information about those places, take pictures and keeplearning…” she happily states; this teacher, as the others we interviewedfor the book, let us regain some of the expectations we placeon Argentinean education.Potrero de los FunesA Digital Inclusion Center has just opened its doors in one of the bestknown tourist attraction in San Luis, located northeast of the capitalcity. You can easily tell that is new because it is perfectly painted inwhite and apple green, the latter being the color chosen for the logoof the free wi-fi.
