These children have a different look. You can tell assoon as you try to start a dialogue. It is not easy there is a lot of embarrassmentand happiness at the same time and a little bit of mistrust. But it is likely to recognize- because they say so- that they like learningmusic, it makes them feel good. For many of them the computerallowed them to more than learning in a different way. The netbookwas the door to discovering new sounds that come from musical instrumentsthey didn’t know. So, they, who only knew the sounds of a guitaror a piano, where astonishing at discovering that there are oboes, tubas, harps, and mandolins; bassoons, double bass and kettle drums. They were able to create, in less than a month, a melody line and canplay it with their netbooks that become grand pianos, guitars, drums, flutes or any instruments one can choose to play. That melody line isthe beginning of their masterpiece.Ricardo Fernandez (13) has deep black eyes and a huge desire to playthe violin, he needs to take out the notes he has in his mind and heart.“I like using my fingers, because of the sound ther produce”, he describes.Feelings are so strong he cannot find the words to describe what he is ableto demonstrate with the violin in which his computer turns into.“I like playing the drums- says Agustín Quiroga (9)-. Sometimes I make amistake and start all over again, but I practice till I get it right”. His enthusiasmto achieve an objective prevents them from processing that feelingof frustration which, in other activities, might manifest with toughness. However, mistakes here are part of the road. Therefore, we have to startover every time we stumble so we can reach that goal, which is being ableto compose music. All of a sudden we hear a piano. On the teacher’s desk we see Abel Mi-
