Sus alumnos sonjubilados, abuelos, personas que luego de dedicarle su tiempo al trabajo,a la familia, a los hijos, ahora pueden reservar un poco más de tiempoa sí mismos. Son los Abuelos en Red, el programa gubernamental queapunta a que los “viejitos” ganen un poco más de calidad de vida en estaetapa de su existencia.“Abuelos en Red” es el programa inicial, realizado en conjunto entre laULP y el Banco Supervielle, una entidad financiera que cumple así conuno de sus programas de responsabilidad social empresaria. El objetivoes que aprendan a usar en un período de tres meses a utilizar una PC eInternet, es decir, a navegar, chatear, comunicarse y encontrar información.El plan dio origen a su vez a “Abuelos Blogueros”, donde se muestranlos trabajos que son capaces de hacer los viejitos más avanzados enel uso de la compu a través de un blog. En este caso, la meta es que losadultos mayores puedan expresarse. His students are retired people,grandparents, people who after dedicating a lot of time to their work, families and sons cannow have time to devote to themselves. These are Grandparents Online, a government programthat aims at “old people” to have a better life quality in this stage of their lives.“Grandparents online” is the initial program, carried out by La Punta University and SupervielleBank, a financial institution that accomplishes through this program their Entrepreneur SocialResponsibility. The objective is that they learn to use a computer and internet in three months;it means that they learn to browse, chat, communicate and find information. This plan gavebirth to “Blogger Grandparents”, where works done by advanced students of the course areshown in a blog. The goal is that old people can express themselves. Usually they write aboutfree topics, once they are done writing, they upload their work to the blog and publish it; they
