Unos 30 alumnos siguen las explicaciones<strong>de</strong> un profesor que, al revés <strong>de</strong> lo que suele verse en las aulasargentinas, es mucho más joven que sus estudiantes. Sus alumnos sonjubilados, abuelos, personas que luego <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>dicarle su tiempo al trabajo,a la familia, a los hijos, ahora pue<strong>de</strong>n reservar un poco más <strong>de</strong> tiempoa sí mismos. Son los Abuelos en Red, el programa gubernamental queapunta a que los “viejitos” ganen un poco más <strong>de</strong> calidad <strong>de</strong> vida en estaetapa <strong>de</strong> su existencia.“Abuelos en Red” es el programa inicial, realizado en conjunto entre la<strong>ULP</strong> y el Banco Supervielle, una entidad financiera que cumple así conuno <strong>de</strong> sus programas <strong>de</strong> responsabilidad social empresaria. El objetivoes que aprendan a usar en un período <strong>de</strong> tres meses a utilizar una PC eInternet, es <strong>de</strong>cir, a navegar, chatear, comunicarse y encontrar información.El plan dio origen a su vez a “Abuelos Blogueros”, don<strong>de</strong> se muestranlos trabajos que son capaces <strong>de</strong> hacer los viejitos más avanzados enel uso <strong>de</strong> la compu a través <strong>de</strong> un blog. En este caso, la meta es que losadultos mayores puedan expresarse. These are Grandparents Online, a government programthat aims at “old people” to have a better life quality in this stage of their lives.“Grandparents online” is the initial program, carried out by <strong>La</strong> <strong>Punta</strong> University and SupervielleBank, a financial institution that accomplishes through this program their Entrepreneur SocialResponsibility. The objective is that they learn to use a computer and internet in three months;it means that they learn to browse, chat, communicate and find information. This plan gavebirth to “Blogger Grandparents”, where works done by advanced stu<strong>de</strong>nts of the course areshown in a blog. The goal is that old people can express themselves.
