Issues Regarding the Modernization of the Economic Higher
Education
Abstract. The modernization of the economic higher education has to
be a priority for our society, because it provides the largest mass of
professionals and it is also the most extensive education form according to
statistics, having the largest number of students. The present study is based on
data coming from the international economic education environment combined
with my own ideas about the structure, form and content of the economic
higher education of the future, following the three steps: undergraduate
education, master education, doctoral studies or postgraduate studies.

Premisa elaborării şi publicării acestui studiu o constituie
necesitatea de a moderniza forma, structura şi conţinutul
învăţământului superior economic, ţinând cont atât de tendinţele pe
plan internaţional, cât şi de rezultatele implementării în România a
sistemului de tip Bologna. Universitatea contemporană trebuie să te
ajute să-ţi satisfaci mai bine nevoile prezente, să poţi crea, să poţi
aborda facil diversele ocupaţii şi funcţii. Studiiilor universitare sunt
guvernate de dorinţa de a fi mai instruiţi, de a avea o calificare
dinamică, pentru o economie în continuă mişcare şi transformare. În
acest context m-am axat în principal asupra următoarelor teme:
1. specializarea în cadrul învăţământului de licenţă,
2. rolul studiilor masterale,
3. rolul studiilor universitare avansate,
4. rolul studiilor de perfecţionare continuă.
