องค์ประกอบต่างๆ ที่ถูกจัดแสดง ซึ่งได้ใจทิพย์
ใจดี มารับหน้าที่เป็นผู้กํากับศิลป์และออกแบบ
นิทรรศการ และได้กนกพร นุชแสง จาก APLD​
มารับหน้าที่ออกแบบแสงสว่าง ทํางานร่วมกับ
ร่องรอยของกาลเวลาที่เกิดขึ้นภายในอาคาร​
เป็นอย่างดี จนทําให้ตัวพื้นที่ทางสถาปัตยกรรม
เองก็สามารถสร้างบทสนทนาอีกชุดหนึ่งขึ้นมา
ร่วมพูดคุยกับผู้ชมได้อีกด้วย และเพราะความ
เก่าแก่ของโครงสร้างอาคารจนทําให้พื้นที่แห่งนี้
จะเปิดให้เข้าชมเป็นครั้งสุดท้ายก่อนที่จะถูกปิด
เพื่อทําการบูรณะเป็นเวลา 6 ปี ตั้งแต่ปลายเดือน​
กุมภาพันธ์ 2563 เป็นต้นไป ทําให้ Hundred
Years Between นั้นสามารถรองรับผู้ชมได้เพียง​
รอบละประมาณ 20 คนเท่านั้น
แม้ว่าในปีนี้เราจะได้เห็นความหลากหลายของ
มุมมองที่มากขึ้นจากการจัดงาน รวมทั้งเริ่ม​
ได้เห็นรูปแบบของการนําเสนอเนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวข้อง
กับการออกแบบและความคิดสร้างสรรค์ที่พัฒนา​
ไปในทางที่ดีขึ้น แต่ในขณะเดียวกันการกระจาย​
ตัวของพื้นที่กิจกรรมไปยังย่านต่างๆ ที่ในที่นี้
อาจจะดูมากเกินไปกว่าระยะเวลาที่มีอยู่เพียง
ประมาณ 1 สัปดาห์เศษของการจัดงาน ก็ทําให้​
นํ้ำเสียงของ Bangkok Design Week 2020
ในปีนี้แผ่วลงกว่าเดิม เมื่อเทียบกับปีก่อนที่
ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ซึ่งกระจายตัวอยู่เพียงใน
ย่านเจริญกรุงและตลาดน้อยนั้น ส่งเสียงได้เป็น
อันหนึ่งอันเดียวกันกว่า การได้เห็นว่าจํานวน
ของแนวความคิดและผลงานที่น่าติดตามเพิ่ม
มากขึ้น ซึ่งแปรผันตรงกับจํานวนของผู้เข้าร่วม
งานที่ให้ความสนใจในงานออกแบบมากขึ้นกว่า
ในอดีตนั้นเป็นเรื่องดี เพราะนั่นได้สะท้อนให้
เห็นว่าความพยายามของ TCDC ที่ต้องจะสร้าง
ความเข้าใจใน “งานออกแบบ” ให้มากขึ้นกับ
สาธารณชนตลอด 10 กว่าปีที่ผ่านมานั้นเริ่ม
สัมฤทธิผล ทว่าจํานวนที่มากขึ้นก็เป็นอีกความ
ท้าทายใหม่ของหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบเช่นกัน
ว่าจะทําอย่างไรจึงจะสามารถจัดการและส่งออก​
ข้อมูลที่มีนั้นให้ไปถึงผู้คนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
ในยุคที่ข้อมูลจํานวนมหาศาลไหลบ่าอยู่รอบตัว
หน้าที่ของผู้ถือครองข้อมูลซึ่งในกรณีนี้คือTCDC​
the relationships between past and
present and human and nature in an
interesting way.
The elements displayed in the exhibition,
which are organized by Jaitip Jaidee,
the exhibition art director and designer,
and Kanokporn Nuchsaeng, the director
of APLD lighting design, are well-suited
to the historical character of the building.
This creates a kind of conversation
between the architecture and the audience.
Due to the age and condition of the
building, ‘Hundred Years Between’ could
only accommodate approximately
twenty visitors per round, and immediately
after the conclusion of Bangkok Design
Week, it has been closed for renovation
for six years.
Although we can see more diverse
perspectives from the event and more
creative content and presentation
formats , the distribution of activities
across many areas over a week-long
event can make Bangkok Design Week
2020 seem a bit low-key. Last year,
the creative output was concentrated
within the area of Charoenkrung and
Taladnoi, and it could communicate a
more unified message, but seeing such
a large increase in the number ideas,
projects, and participants positively
reflects the successful efforts of TCDC
over the last ten years to make the public
understand more about how design works.
This increasing number has proven to be
a challenge for participating institutions,
especially in terms of how information
is managed and conveyed to people
effectively.

ชุมชนตลาดน้อยให้กลายเป็น
ลานคาราโอเกะนั้น สามารถ
สร้างปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างชาวบ้าน​
และผู้คนที่ผ่านไปมาได้อย่าง
น่าสนใจเลยทีเดียว

Fill’s ‘Thep Pra Than Pleng’
transforms the courtyard
in front of Rong Kueak
Shrine into a place for
karaoke has introduced a
fun and intriguing way to
create interaction between
the locals and the
passersby
และสํานักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์
(องค์การมหาชน) จึงอาจจะไม่ใช่เพียงนําเสนอ
หรือส่งต่อองค์ความรู้ที่มีอยู่อีกต่อไปแต่ยังควร
จะต้องหาวิธีการจัดการและคัดสรรเนื้อหานั้นๆ
ให้อยู่ในรูปแบบและปริมาณที่เหมาะสมกับ
ศักยภาพของแต่ละบุคคล เพื่อที่เขาเหล่านั้นจะ
สามารถปรับตัว อยู่รอด และเติบโต ได้อย่างที่
ตั้งจุดหมายไว้
In this era of abundant information,
the responsibility of the information
providers—in this case, TCDC and the
Creative Economy Agency—is not only
to present or distribute knowledge
anymore, but also to manage and select
appropriate formats and platforms so
people can adapt, survive, and grow
according to the event’s objectives.
