Für was bin ich als Aussteller verantwortlich?
Der Aussteller ist verantwortlich dafür, dass der von ihm oder
in seinem Auftrag errichtete Ausstellungsstand und sein
Messeauftritt den allgemeinen Rechtsvorschriften, den
Ausstellungsbedingungen und den Technischen Richtlinien
entspricht.
Aus diesem Grund ist es unbedingt notwendig, dass
der Aussteller alle zur Planung notwendigen Unterlagen
(Hallenplan, Detailplan, Organisatorische und technische
Richtlinien, Ausstellungsbedingungen und Service-Angebot)
an den Planer seines Messestandes weiter reicht.
Der Aussteller ist für die Betriebssicherheit und die Einhaltung
der Arbeitsschutz- und Unfallverhütungsvorschriften
auf seinem Stand verantwortlich. Er haftet auch
für alle Personen- und Sachschäden, die durch den Standbau
und den Betrieb seines Standes und der darauf angeordneten
Ausstellungsgegenstände entstehen.
Der Bauaufsichtsbehörde, dem Staatl. Amt für Arbeitsschutz
und Sicherheitstechnik, den Ordnungsbehörden, der Polizei,
der Feuerwehr, der Messe Frankfurt und dem Veranstalter
ist jederzeit zur Überprüfung der Betriebssicherheit und der
Unfallverhütungsmaßnahmen Zutritt zu den Ständen zu
gewähren.

2. Alles über die
Standbaugenehmigung
Für jeden Stand muss ein Standentwurf beim Veranstalter
zur Prüfung und Genehmigung eingereicht werden.
Eingeschossige Stände werden nur vom Veranstalter
geprüft und genehmigt. Ein geprüftes Exemplar wird an den
Aussteller bzw. dessen Korrespondenzadresse gesandt.
Zweigeschossige Stände, Sonderkonstruktionen und
Stände im Freigelände werden vom Veranstalter auf die
Gestaltungsrichtlinien und von der Messe Frankfurt auf Einhaltung
der baurechtlichen (Sicherheit, Brandschutz, Fluchtwege)
Bestimmungen geprüft.
Der Veranstalter leitet die Unterlagen des Ausstellers an die
Messe Frankfurt weiter.
Die Genehmigungsvermerke des VDA und der Messe Frankfurt
bei der zweigeschossigen Bauweise werden auf
einem Plansatz dargestellt. Der Aussteller erhält ein geprüftes
Exemplar mit allen erforderlichen Genehmigungsvermerken.
Das Bauerlaubnisverfahren für zweigeschossige Stände,
Sonderkonstruktionen und Stände im Freigelände ist kostenpflichtig.
Die Gebühren für die Prüfung der Unterlagen und der Erteilung
der Genehmigung betragen € 1.150,– (zzgl. Umsatzsteuer);
sie werden dem Aussteller von der Messe Frankfurt
in Rechnung gestellt.
Die Übereinstimmung des Ausstellungsstandes mit den
Richtlinien kann durch den Veranstalter, die Messe Frankfurt
und die jeweils zuständigen Behörden beim Aufbau und
während der Ausstellung jederzeit überprüft werden.
Standbauten, die nicht genehmigt sind, den technischen
Richtlinien oder den Gesetzen nicht entsprechen, müssen
ggf. geändert oder beseitigt werden. Bei nicht fristgerech-

What am I responsible for as an exhibitor?
The exhibitor is responsible for ensuring that the stand
erected by him or on his behalf and his trade fair presence
comply with the general statutory requirements, the
Exhibition Conditions and the Technical Regulations.
For this reason it is absolutely essential for the exhibitor to
forward all the documentation required for the planning
process (hall plan, detail plan, Organisational and Technical
Regulations, Exhibition Conditions and manual “Services
Offered”) to the company planning his stand.
The exhibitor is responsible for site safety and for compliance
with occupational health and safety and accident
prevention regulations on his stand. He is also liable for all
personal injuries and property damage resulting from the
construction and operation of this stand and the exhibits
thereon.
Building inspectors, health and safety officials, civil order
authorities, the police, fire service, Messe Frankfurt and the
organiser must be granted access to the stands at any time
to check site safety and accident-prevention measures.

2. Stand construction
permit
A draft stand plan must be submitted to the organiser for
each stand for checking and approval.
Single-storey stands are only tested and approved by
the organiser. A checked copy will be sent to the exhibitor’s
correspondence address.
Two-storey stands, special stand constructions and
stands in the open air section are checked by the organiser
for compliance with the design guidelines and by Messe
Frankfurt for compliance with building regulations (safety, fire
safety, escape routes).
The organiser forwards the exhibitor’s documentation to
Messe Frankfurt.
The approval statements of the VDA and Messe Frankfurt for
a two-storey design are shown on one set of plans. The
exhibitor receives one checked copy with all the necessary
approval statements.
A charge is payable for the construction permit process for
two-storey stands, special structures and stands on the
open-air hardstanding.
The fee for checking the paperwork and granting the permit
is € 1,150.– (plus VAT); the exhibitor will be invoiced for this
sum by Messe Frankfurt.
The organiser, Messe Frankfurt and the respective
authorities may check at any time during construction and
during the show itself that the stand complies with the
guidelines.
Stand structures which are not approved, do not comply
with the Technical Regulations or with statutory requirements
must, if necessary, be modified or removed. If this
is not done within the specified deadline, the organiser is
entitled to have the work carried out himself to the charge
and at the risk of the exhibitor.
