Bei der Verwendung der Chlor- und pH-Korrekturmittel
sind die Bestimmungen der Gefahrstoff-Verordnung
(Gefstoff V) und der Chemikalienverbots-Verordnung
(ChemVerbots V) zu befolgen.
Prospekte und ähnliche Unterlagen dürfen nur in der einem
Tagesbedarf entsprechenden Menge auf dem Ausstellungsstand
eingelagert werden.
Welche Baumaterialien darf ich zum Standbau
verwenden?
Alle Materialien, die zum Standbau und zur Dekoration
verwendet werden, müssen den bauaufsichtlichen und
brandschutztechnischen Bestimmungen entsprechen und
mindestens der Baustoffklasse B1 nach DIN 4102 (schwer
entflammbar) entsprechen.
Die Materialien dürfen weder brennend abtropfen, noch
bei Wärmeeinwirkung toxische Gase und Dämpfe entwickeln.
Nicht zulässig sind Materialien, die zerknallen
oder explosionsartig abbrennen.
Beispiele: In der Regel nicht zulässig sind Bambus, Reet,
Schilf, Stroh, Polystyrol-Hartschaumplatten (Styropor, PU)
oder ähnliche Kunststoffe.
Die Eigenschaften eines Materials werden vom Hersteller
getestet und in Form eines Prüfzeugnisses dokumentiert.
Der Aussteller oder der zuständige Messebauer muss die
Prüfzeugnisse der verwendeten Materialien beim Hersteller
anfordern, da sie während des Aufbaues und der Veranstaltung
vom Veranstalter, der Messe Frankfurt oder den
zuständigen Behörden eingesehen und überprüft werden
können.
An tragende Konstruktionsteile können im Einzelfall aus
Sicherheitsgründen höhere Anforderungen gestellt werden.
Bei der Verwendung von Glas ist zu beachten, dass nur
Sicherheitsglas zugelassen ist. Die Kanten von Glasscheiben
müssen so bearbeitet oder geschützt sein, dass eine Verletzungsgefahr
ausgeschlossen ist.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass beim Einsatz von Glas im Boden,
über Kopf, in Fassaden über 4 m ab Hallenboden und als
Absturzsicherung zusätzliche Auflagen bestehen, die Sie
dem u. g. Merkblatt entnehmen können.
Normalentflammbares Acrylglas (Plexiglas) ist nicht zulässig.

These rules are applicable:
When using chlorine and pH correction agents, the
provisions of Germany’s Gefahrstoff-Verordnung
(Gefstoff V – Dangerous Substances Ordinance) and
the Chemikalienverbots-Verordnung (ChemVerbots V –
Chemicals Prohibition Ordinance) must be observed.
Only sufficient brochures and similar literature for one day’s
use may be stored on the stand.
What construction materials may I use for
building the stand?
All materials used for constructing and decorating the
stand must comply with building regulations and fire-safety
regulations and meet at least building material category B1
to DIN 4102 (flame-retardant).
The materials must neither drip on burning nor emit toxic
gases and vapours on becoming hot.
Materials which explode or burn explosively are not
permitted.
Examples: bamboo, reeds, thatch, straw, rigid expanded
polystyrene tiles or similar plastics are not generally permitted.
A material’s properties are tested by the manufacturer and
documented in the form of a test certificate.
The exhibitor or the relevant stand builder must request the
test certificates for the materials used from the manufacturer
since they are liable to be viewed and checked by the organiser,
Messe Frankfurt or the responsible authorities during
construction and during the event itself.
More rigorous requirements may be made of load-bearing
structural components in individual cases for safety reasons.
If glass is used, it should be noted that only safety glass is
permitted. The edges of glass panes must be machined or
protected such that there is no risk of injury.
Please note that supplementary conditions apply, details of
which are contained in the code of practice specified below,
if glass is used in the floor, overhead, in façades more than
4 m above the hall floor and as a guard against falling.
The use of Acrylic glass (known by its trademarks Plexiglas
or Perspex) of normal flammability is not permitted.
