There was no chance to stop this treatment and to rescue the poor dogs which were just killed because of thedisability of the people who don´t know how to live with a dog or a cat!I am a person who has a little dog and when I heard these news I was shocked. I think that more people are ofthe same opinion as me that animals have not deserved this treatment!I want you to think about it. I want you to stop this treatment. I know that we cannot do much but we shouldhelp organizations like PETA.This event really changed my life and I started thinking more about the protection of animals. Over 15 millionpeople in Germany have a pet. I can´t understand why people give their pet away; first most of the people thinkthey have got enough money for a pet but then they give it away because of a lack of time and money. So it isreally important to think first about this topic! When people really think about it the number of the stray dogswill get smaller and countries like the Ukraine wouldn´t have problems with stray dogs.Not only families should think about it, also the government should find solutions to protect animals and preventmany animals from being killed only because they seem to be a danger for children and other people.With this text I want to tell you that we should help organizations like PETA and first think about this topic beforebuying a pet and not caring for it. Please don´t ignore this problem because they are just animals! No, they areliving creatures! Every part of life is computerized andimproved more and more every day. For example, shopping on-line almost changedbuying in shops. Only few years ago children were playing with friends outside. Nowalmost every child has got a computer and the Internet, they are playing computergames, they are “meeting” their friends in Facebook or something like that. There arelots of examples how computer and the Internet changes our lives.One of them is an email pupils’ record book. It has improved our education system. Itmakes our school life easier.In the past teachers had to do everything in the register: write the topic of the lessonand homework. They had to check who is absent on that day. So the invention of anemail register improved education system for teachers, too.If we talk about students and their parents we can seelots of advantages as well. Everybody knows thatparents do not like bad marks, students as well. Butwhen students had ordinary diaries it was easier to hidemarks from parents. Students could erase bad marks oreven do not write them into their diaries. But Iabsolutely agree that it depends on your conscience.Nevertheless, there are lots of advantages: now we cancheck what we have for homework, we can compare ourmarks with those of other classmates’ etc. I have carriedout a poll and made this chart to show you myclassmates’ opinion about email record books.The results are:This chart confirms that a part of people are notconscientious and it’s necessary to do to something tofight with cheating.In conclusion I want to say that the Internet and a computer are good, they “help” us to live. This homepageis a good example! Without the internet, it would be difficult to exchange our articles what would make it harderto put our whole project into practise.But having thought about the email pupils’record book, I asked myself : What about those pupils, whose familyaren’t able to afford a privat internet connection, because they haven’t got enough money? Won’t it excludethese pupils from the rest of the class?So my opinion is absolutely the same as yours. They can’t change real life with internet communication.n° 9/2013, page 138
