Aber erst wenn man selbst behindert ist, kennt mandiesen Zustand, die guten sowie die schlechten Seiten.Niemand wünscht sich, behindert zu sein. Doch manche trifft es, wiezum Beispiel Marie, 22. Nach einem Autounfall blieb sie ein halbes Jahrim Krankenhaus, bis sie entlassen wurde – leider körperbehindert undim Rollstuhl. Ihr ganzes Leben veränderte sich. Sie stellte ein Mädchenein, das ihr zu Hause helfen und sich um den Haushalt kümmern sollte.Ihre Wohnung wurde umgebaut, ohne Stufen und mit viel freiem Platz.Maries Freunde unterstützten sie immer und halfen ihr, wann immer siees nötig hatte. Am Anfang besuchten sie Marie jeden Tag bis sie sichschlieβlich etwas sicherer fühlte. Auch von ihrer Familie bekam sieUnterstützung. Ihre Eltern zogen in die Nähe ihrer Wohnung um, umimmer zur Stelle zu sein, wenn Marie Hilfe bräuchte.Leider konnte sie nicht mehr so einfach nachmittags mit ihren Freundenin die Stadt zum Shoppen gehen oder einfach mit der U-Bahn fahren.Erst daran bemerkte sie, wie schwer Rollstuhlfahrer es haben, mit den ganzen Stufen, Treppe und engen Lücken.Seit ihrem Unfall sind nun fast drei Jahre vergangen. Marie hat sich jetzt an den Rollstuhl, den neuen Blickwinkelund ihren neuen Alltag gewöhnt. Sie findet, dass die Leute viel freundlicher mit ihr umgehen als früher und ihrimmer helfen wollen. Es gibt aber auch Personen, die denken, dass eine Körperbehinderung eine Krankheit seiund sie immer komisch angucken. Solche Menschen findet Marie unsympatisch.Marie möchte, dass alle behinderten Menschen nicht aufgeben sollen, denn, obwohl man behindert ist, kann manein viel glücklicheres Leben führen als ein nicht behinderter Mensch.
