Das einzige Mittel, das die Jugend zur Verfügung hat, um ihren Dissensder Welt und der Regierung zu zeigen, ist die Demonstration auf denStraßen, auch wenn dieses Mittel oft sich als eine nutzlose Sacheerweist oder als solche betrachtet werden könnte: die Einheit unterallen Jugendlichen macht ihre Macht.Also selbst wenn es scheint, dass die sozialen Bedingungen den jungenLeuten nicht helfen aufzuwachsen und sich zu entwickeln, sollen sichJugendliche engagieren, ihre eigene Zukunft aufzubauen; sie sollennicht mehr nur auf die Gesellschaft zählen, sondern auf ihre eigeneMacht.Es ist die Zusammenarbeit unter den jungen Menschen, die unsereZukunft wieder aufbauen kann.The youth is the future and especially in this peculiar period in whichthe economic and political reforms are penalizing young people, they –we – are becoming stronger, fighting together to achieve a betterfuture. Because of the economic crisis, the reforms implemented inItaly (the politics of austerity) touch mostly the school and the healthsysem.Last year a lot of laws to reform the school system were made, andall of them penalize students who do not have great economicpossibilities.In fact the cuts to the schools and the fear of a possible privatizationof public schools have heavy consequences on the career of studentswho do not have the money to spend for the secondary school and later for the university.Another important consequence of this politics is the cut the researchers in universities. This experimental work,normally done by young graduates in fields that range from the scientific to the literary one, unfortunately is nomore possible.The only possibility for Italian students and researchers is that of going abroad, studying or working in anothercountry; this phenomenon is ironically called the “brain drain”.In this tragic situation the position of students is very clear, and through demonstrations and public debateswe are trying to change the situation, which forces us to do underpaid jobs, emigrate and renounce ourdreams. The fight is fierce, and it is not just visible in Italy. This battle is visible on an international level, inwhich all the students and the workers of different European countries are gathered on the streets and on thesquares.The only means the youth have to show the world and the governments their dissent is to demonstrate on thestreets; even if this could be considered a useless thing to do, unity between youth is their power.So even if it seems that social conditions are not helping young people to grow and develop, they are organizingthemselves to build their own future, no longer counting on society but on their own power.It is the cooperation between all the younger people of a population that will give us back our future.posted on Wednesday, January 23rd 2013Gewalt gegen Frauen: Unglück der Modernitätby Sara VANTAGGI (1994), LSP Assisi/ItalyAnlässlich des Meetings der humanitären OrganisationLions Club International in Italien, zum Thema “Gewaltgegen Frauen: Unglück der Modernität”, möchte ichauch ein paar Worte über dieses heiße Thema sagen,das in vielen Ländern zu einem sozialen Übel gewordenist. Kein Zufall, dass der Lions Club es als sozialesThema des Jahres 2012/2013 gewählt hat.Mehr als hundert Länder haben keine spezifischenRechtsvorschriften in diesem Bereich, und mehr als70% Frauen weltweit haben im Laufe ihres Lebenskörperliche oder sexuelle Gewalt von Männern erlitten.In Italien hat eine von drei Frauen körperliche, sexuelleoder psychologische Belästigung im Leben erhalten. Eshandelt sich immer um ein Verbrechen, abgesehen vonFoto aus http:/www.clker.com der jeweiligen Geschichte, von den politischen odersozio-kulturellen Unterschieden, und das Phänomen istauch in den sogenannaten “Entwickelten Ländern” zu finden.Angegriffene Frauen fühlen Angst, Wut, Unsicherheit, Verlust des Selbstwertgefühls und des Vertrauens inandere, posttraumatische Belastungsstörungen. Ihr Leben ist dadurch für immer geprägt.Es ist möglich, dass die zunehmende weibliche Autonomie und Emanzipation westlicher Frauen Sorgen macht.Frustration verursacht Unsicherheit und Aggressivität.
