That ends the procedural programming boot camp part of the book. I hope you’re not too<br />

bleary-eyed or despondent. This information takes time to assimilate, <strong>and</strong> again I suggest<br />

you treat this chapter as a reference or cheat sheet to return to as you need it. Everything<br />

covered in this chapter will resurface in examples to come throughout the book, so you’ll<br />

have lots of opportunities for practice. Later, in Chapter 8, I’ll cover OOP, which will be<br />

your “code boot camp part 2” experience. But of course by then, you’ll be a grizzled <strong>and</strong><br />

seasoned codehead. The next chapter will look at some of the fundamental issues involved<br />

in graphics programming.
