Universiteterne bliver udfordret! Læringsformer <strong>og</strong><br />

faggrænser ændrer sig. Der er nye krav til bæredygtighed<br />

<strong>og</strong> fleksible bygningsstrukturer. Ligesom vi i<br />

dag oplever et anderledes samspil mellem uddannelse,<br />

forskning <strong>og</strong> omverden. Tilsammen gør det, at<br />

universiteterne til stadighed skal nytænke sig selv.<br />

De fysiske rammer spiller en væsentlig rolle for<br />

morgendagens universiteter. B<strong>og</strong>en præsenterer<br />

eksempler på, hvordan internationale <strong>og</strong> danske universiteter<br />

arbejder med sagen <strong>og</strong> debatterer samtidig<br />

måden, vi gør det på.<br />

B<strong>og</strong>en er essensen af et projekt i Universitets- <strong>og</strong><br />

<strong>Bygningsstyrelsen</strong> under Ministeriet for Videnskab,<br />

Teknol<strong>og</strong>i <strong>og</strong> Udvikling, som sætter fokus på potentialerne<br />

ved at indtænke fysisk planlægning af universiteter<br />

professionelt <strong>og</strong> strategisk. Den er skrevet til<br />

beslutningstagere, udførende <strong>og</strong> brugere, der arbejder<br />

med fysisk universitetsplanlægning.<br />

B<strong>og</strong>en skal inspirere <strong>og</strong> skabe forudsætninger for den<br />

fysiske planlægning af morgendagens campusområder<br />

<strong>og</strong> <strong>studiemiljø</strong>.<br />

The universities are being challenged! Learning forms<br />

and subject boundaries are changing. New demands<br />

for sustainability and flexible building structures have<br />

emerged. And we are currently witnessing a different<br />

interplay between education, research and the surrounding<br />

world. This all combines to make it essential<br />

for universities to constantly rethink themselves.<br />

The physical framework plays a significant role in<br />

relation to the universities of the future. This book<br />

presents examples of how international and Danish<br />

universities work with this issue, and at the same<br />

time, it debates the way in which we do this.<br />

The book is the essence of a project at the Danish<br />

University and Property Agency under the auspices<br />

of the Danish Ministry of Science, Technol<strong>og</strong>y and Innovation,<br />

which focuses on the potentials of thinking<br />

professionally and strategically about the physical<br />

planning of universities. It is written for decisionmakers,<br />

practitioners and users who work with<br />

physical university planning.<br />

The book is intended to inspire and create the basis<br />

for the physical planning of the campus areas and<br />

study environments of the future.<br />
