Article 66
Prohibition on exercising a profession, activity or duty
1. The court may prohibit a perpetrator from exercising a profession, an independent
activity, a management or administrative duty or duties related to the disposition,
management or use of publicly owned property or the protection of such property, if such
person has abused his or her position, activity or duty in order to commit a criminal
offense or if there is reason to expect that the exercise of such profession, activity or duty
can be misused to commit a criminal offense.
2. The court shall determine the duration of the punishment ordered pursuant to
paragraph 1 of this Article, which shall not be less than one (1) year and shall not exceed
five (5) years, starting from the day the decision of the court becomes final. The period
of time served in a prison or in a health care institution is not included in the duration of
this punishment.
3. When imposing a suspended sentence, the court may decide that the suspended
sentence will be revoked if the perpetrator does not comply with the prohibition on
exercising a profession, activity or duty.
Article 67
Prohibition on driving motor vehicles
1. The court may prohibit a perpetrator who jeopardizes the safety of public traffic from
driving a motor vehicle of a specific kind and category.
2. The court shall determine the duration of the punishment ordered pursuant to
paragraph 1 of this Article, which shall not be less than one (1) year and shall not exceed
five (5) years, starting from the day the decision of the court becomes final. The period of
time served in a prison or in a health care institution is not included in the duration of this
punishment.
3. When imposing a suspended sentence, the court may decide that such a suspended
sentence will be revoked if the perpetrator violates the prohibition on driving the motor
vehicle. This paragraph shall not apply if there are extra-ordinary circumstances which
require the perpetrator to drive.
4. If the punishment provided for in paragraph 1 of this Article is imposed on a person
who has a foreign license for driving a motor vehicle, the punishment shall prohibit the
use of the foreign license within the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
