frons. Pronotum: Surface glabrous, densely<br />

punctate, with small and moderate punctures.<br />

Marginal bead weak laterally, absent<br />

elsewhere. Elytron: Surface glabrous; longitudinal<br />

striae not impressed, punctate; punctures<br />

moderate with dark coloration;<br />

intervals sparsely punctate, punctures small.<br />

Suture apically with weak spine. Pygidium:<br />

Width approximately 2.4 times length medially.<br />

Surface weakly convex, moderately to<br />

densely punctate; punctures moderately large<br />

to moderate, setose (near apex); setae short,<br />

tawny. Venter: Thorax moderately setose (ex-<br />

cept glabrous medially), setae cream colored.<br />

Mesothoracic process projecting anteriorly to<br />

procoxa, weakly diamond shaped, dorsoventrally<br />

flattened. Abdomen glabrous. Apical<br />

spiracles not extruding. Legs: Protibia with 1<br />

apical tooth. Mesotibia and metatibia widest<br />

medially. Protarsomeres 2-4 wider than long,<br />

cup-shaped. Protarsomere 4 with internoapical<br />

stridulatory ridge. Protarsomere 5 with<br />

internomedial, stridulatory tooth. Mesotarsomere<br />

and metatarsomere 5 with internomedial<br />

tooth. Unguitractor plate cylindrical,<br />

with 2 apical setae. Modified protarsal claw
