The existence and location <strong>of</strong> other<br />

specimens from Ohaus’ original type series<br />

are unknown. Type locality: Callanga, Lima,<br />

Perú.<br />

DESCRIPTION. Male (n=17). Length 19.5-<br />

2<strong>4.5</strong> mm, width 12.0-14.3 mm. Color dorsally<br />

light green with yellow scutellum, thick<br />

elytral suture, head margins. Ventrally reddish-brown<br />

abdominal sternites, metacoxa,<br />

medial metasternum, mesothoracic process;<br />

light green lateral metasternum (Fig. 34); yellowish-brown<br />

legs, thoracic pleura, prothorax,<br />

head. Body ovate, strongly convex. Head: Dorsal<br />

surface glabrous. Frons and clypeus<br />

sparsely punctate, punctures moderate. Frons<br />

not depressed. Frontoclypeal suture complete.<br />

Clypeal apex rounded. Eyes separated by approximately<br />

4.0 transverse eye-widths. Labrum<br />

with microsculpturing; sparsely<br />

punctate, with moderately large, setose punctures,<br />

setae tawny. Apex <strong>of</strong> labrum with triangular<br />

medial tooth, extending past apex <strong>of</strong>
