ABSTRACT
Biomass is one of the very first energy sources included in
human daily activities. Biogas, obtained by bioconversion of
organic matter is a complex anaerobic fermentation process
involving the action of microorganisms for methane producing.
In this paper, biogas from waste water and energy production in
isolated locations is investigated. The basic reason that
motivated this work is treating animal waste and waste
water in industry processes with the technology of
anaerobic digestion resulting in reducing environmental
pollution and generate relatively cheap and readily available
source of energy in sheepfolds and dairy farms, as well as in
isolated settlements. The gas produced can be used for space
and water heating, cooking, lighting and as RES for electricity
production
