Canned cycles (·M· model)<br />

The way the roughing and finishing blocks of this cycle are joined will be the one previously<br />

set by the user with the instructions #HSC, G5, G50 or G7. We recommend to use #HSC<br />

or G5 controlling the shape of the corner with the instruction #ROUNDPAR.<br />

Geometric parameters:<br />

Type of slot milling (icon).<br />

There are 6 possible types.<br />

4 for slot mill each corner of the part.<br />

2 for milling a slot across the part.<br />

X, Y Corner where the slot is to be milled.<br />

L, H Slot dimensions.<br />

The sign indicates the orientation referred to the XY point.<br />

Z Part surface coordinate.<br />

Zs Safety plane coordinate.<br />

P Total depth.<br />

α Angle, in degrees, between the slot and the abscissa axis. The turn is carried out on the defined<br />

corner, X,Y point.<br />

Roughing parameters:<br />

The roughing operation leaves the following finishing stocks. Both stocks are defined as<br />

finishing parameters.<br />

δ Finishing stock on the side walls.<br />

δz Finishing stock at the bottom of the pocket.
