3.3 Selecting data, profiles and icons<br />
Data selection.<br />
To enter or modify a data, it must be selected; i.e. it must have the editing focus on it.<br />
The parameters of the cycles may be selected with the [] [] [] [] keys or with the direct<br />
access keys. The first data of each group may also be selected by pressing the page-up and<br />
page-down keys.<br />
The direct access keys correspond to the name of the parameters; [F] for feedrates, [T] for<br />
tools, etc. Every time the same key is pressed, it selects the next data of the same type.<br />
Data entry.<br />
Place the cursor in the corresponding window, key in the desired value and press [ENTER].<br />
If [ENTER] is not pressed, the new value will not be assumed.<br />
If the Teach-in mode is selected, the current position of the machine may be associated with<br />
a coordinate. Place the cursor in the relevant window and press the [RECALL] key.<br />
For the X axis parameters, it will take the coordinate of the first axis of the channel where<br />
the edit-simulation mode is active. For the Y axis parameters, the coordinate of the second<br />
axis and for the Z axis parameters, the coordinate of the third one.<br />
Changing the state of an icon.<br />
Place the cursor on the desired icon and press the space bar.<br />
Select - Define a profile.<br />
To select or modify a profile, the corresponding data must be selected; i.e. it must have the<br />
editing focus on it.<br />
To select an existing profile, press the [] key to expand the list of defined profiles and<br />
select one or type its name.<br />
To define a new profile, write the desired name and press the [RECALL] key to access<br />
the profile editor.<br />
To modify an existing profile, select it from the list or write its desired name and press<br />
the [RECALL] key to access the profile editor.<br />
To delete a profile, press the [] key to expand (drop) the list of profiles and select one.<br />
Press the [DEL] key to delete it.<br />
