�2.1.5 – Despatch and delivery<br />

All ECI articles receive:<br />

� premium streaming and handling in <strong>Australia</strong> for connection with priority international airline<br />

flights<br />

� fully scanned tracking in most developed countries<br />

� courier or express postal delivery in the destination country<br />

� signature recorded on delivery.<br />

Refer to Section 6 of this <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> for the destinations served in each country and anticipated<br />

delivery times.<br />

�2.1.6 – Extra Cover with Express Courier <strong>International</strong> articles<br />

<strong>International</strong> Extra Cover up to $5,000 is available on all ECI items to all ECI destinations. Refer to<br />

the <strong>Post</strong> Charges Booklet (8833665) for the prescribed fee. Senders must comply with the<br />

<strong>International</strong> Extra Cover conditions at �3.1 – <strong>International</strong> Extra Cover.<br />

�2.1.7 – Addressing<br />

<strong>Post</strong> Codes and Telephone numbers<br />

Senders must, if possible, show the <strong>Post</strong> Code and telephone or fax number in both the sender's and<br />

the addressee's address details in legible English. This allows the destination authority that delivers<br />

ECI items to:<br />

� quickly contact the sender in case of incomplete documentation<br />

� contact the addressee to arrange delivery if the first delivery attempt fails.<br />

<strong>Post</strong> office boxes and for collection at a post office<br />

Senders should address ECI articles to a street address. Use a post office box or <strong>Post</strong>e Restante only<br />

if a street delivery address is unavailable. In many countries, the destination authority that delivers<br />

ECI items notifies the addressee by mail of the arrival of an article addressed to a post office box.<br />

Some countries do not accept ECI articles addressed to a post office box or <strong>Post</strong>e Restante – refer to<br />

Section 6 of this <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> or contact the ECI national call-centre on 1800 007 678.<br />

�2.1.8 – Packaging<br />

Prepaid and contract ECI packaging is available in nine sizes, see the information below on<br />

dimensions and weight restrictions (for prepaid packaging only). Contract Packaging does not have<br />

specific weight steps, however it cannot exceed 20kg:<br />
