For articles addressed to a <strong>Post</strong> Office Box, the boxholder is notified of arrival.<br />

Import restrictions<br />

Taiwan requires an import permit for many goods including all commercial items. Before posting<br />

any item, senders should confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit for firearms and<br />

firearm parts.<br />

Exemptions<br />

Taiwan admits without a permit:<br />

� samples of merchandise of no commercial value<br />

� articles for personal use<br />

� gift parcels not exceeding $US25 value.<br />

For personal consumption, alcoholic beverages up to a limit of 5kg are admitted, subject to import<br />

tax. For commercial imports involving alcohol or tobacco products, an import licence is required.<br />

All mail should show TAIWAN as the last part of the address.<br />
