1 ECI and EPI – Parcels deliver to all destinations
ECI and EPI – Parcels deliver to rural destinations by registered or express post, or contacts the
addressee to arrange a delivery point. ECI and EPI – Parcels do not deliver to a Post Office Box or
Poste Restante (counter mail delivery).

Import restrictions
Malta requires an import permit for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should confirm
that the addressee has any necessary permits. Senders should determine import restrictions from
Maltese authorities before posting:
Cloth and clothing, used
Drugs
Firearms
Medicines
Plants and cuttings.
Special documentation
Malta has no current requirements for special documentation.
Prohibitions
In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging Post Guide and
ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Malta prohibits:
Abortion-inducing items
Airline tickets, blank stock
Animal products
Animal skins
Antiques
Contraceptives
Furs
Gambling devices
Ivory
Knives, spring or switch-blade
Military equipment
Obscene material
Precious metals and stones
