All commercial goods require a Certificate of Origin. An invoice is not required if the item has a<br />

value less than 250 Syrian Pounds, or if the item is of a non-commercial nature.<br />

Prohibitions<br />

In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> and<br />

ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Syrian Arab Republic prohibits all items offensive to<br />

the Muslim culture or sensitive to the Middle East security situation. The Syrian Arab Republic also<br />
