1 ECI and EPI - Parcels deliver to all destinations
For articles addressed to a Post Office Box, the boxholder is notified of arrival.
2 Delivery of Extra Cover letters and parcels
Articles must be collected by the addressee from the destination post office.
Import restrictions
Switzerland requires an import permit for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should
confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit. Senders should determine import restrictions
from Swiss authorities before posting:
Animals and animal products
Feathers and down
Hides and skins, raw
Metals, precious, articles made of
Plant products
Pharmaceutical products
Salt
Serums and vaccines
Vegetable products
Weapons.
Special documentation
Switzerland has no current requirements for special documentation.
Prohibitions
In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging Post Guide and
ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Switzerland prohibits:
Absinthe
Offensive items and
Spying devices, miniature.
