1 ECI and EPI - Parcels deliver to all destinations<br />

For articles addressed to a <strong>Post</strong> Office Box, the boxholder is notified of arrival.<br />

2 Delivery of Extra Cover letters and parcels<br />

Articles must be collected by the addressee from the destination post office.<br />

Import restrictions<br />

Switzerland requires an import permit for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should<br />

confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit. Senders should determine import restrictions<br />

from Swiss authorities before posting:<br />

Animals and animal products<br />

Feathers and down<br />

Hides and skins, raw<br />

Metals, precious, articles made of<br />

Plant products<br />

Pharmaceutical products<br />

Salt<br />

Serums and vaccines<br />

Vegetable products<br />

Weapons.<br />

Special documentation<br />

Switzerland has no current requirements for special documentation.<br />

Prohibitions<br />

In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging <strong>Post</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> and<br />

ECI and EPI-Parcels Regulations (see �5.8.2), Switzerland prohibits:<br />

Offensive items and<br />

Spying devices, miniature.<br />

Lottery tickets<br />
